We believe that primary care providers are well positioned to lead the shift from fee-for-service to a value based health care system.

​The Northern New York Physicians Independent Practice Association (NNYPIPA) was founded by a group of independent physicians in northern New York in 1986.  At its inception, the mission of the NNYPIPA was to support doctors in private practice in delivering high quality cost effective medical care.  With all the recent changes in health care, assisting physicians in private practice is now more important than ever.

NNYPIPA has been serving physicians by providing general support, insurance contracting, credentialing services, quality of care improvement activities, assistance with care management along with providing data analytics for their patient population. 

​The NNYPIPA represents and is an advocate for physicians in Clinton, Essex, Franklin and St. Lawrence Counties.
